45% Increase In Electricity Tariff: What A way To Exploit Nigerians.

 The BabaTunde Fashola begged Nigerians to accept the painful pill, which all consumers have to swallow; but i have to hard this...it is not only painful, it will destroy most lives.What a way to exploit exploited Nigerians all over again. It is reasonably illegal and unjustifiable in all sense. It is taking Nigerians for granted as fools, that anyone can dump rubbish on.
  The minimum wage in Nigeria for the past Five years is #18,000.00, though there are private companies and firms paying as low as #7,000.00 to their workers. How can people earning so low cope with the increment, inflation will hit the market, prices of goods and services will go up, house rents and  cost of living will become  so unbearable, crime will increase. People will do all  sort of things to survive.
  It is like the government is seriously clueless about governance and its challenges, especially those the country is facing now. Nigerians lack good roads, food, water, security, jobs, infrastructures and amenities and others not mention. Now the increment will bring a bigger blow to the people. Come to think of it, will there be increase in the quality and quantity of power supply, will there be good equipment ( unlike in some cases where the communities buy the transformers poles and cables ) and adequate distribution of power.
  The Government must learn to realize that the current situation in the country need no more painful experience for the people. The hearts of people are now restless enough of all these suffering theories or painful pills.
